Israel warns Lebanon residents to evacuate, head north of Litani River The Israeli army on Tuesday said that there was a forced displacement threat to people in southern Lebanon. In a post on X, it threatened residents who are based south of the Litani River, warning that “air strikes are ongoing” as it operates “with great force in the area”. “We reiterate our urgent appeal for you to evacuate your homes immediately and head immediately north of the Litani River,” it said. “Any movement southward may endanger your lives.”
