Seven killed, 30 wounded in Israeli strikes on south Lebanon At least seven people were killed and 30 others wounded in Israeli airstrikes on several towns in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. The remarks came after the Assembly of Experts selected Mojtaba Khamenei to succeed his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in an air strike by the United States and Israel. Araqchi said the new leader’s selection reflects the will of the Iranian nation and strengthens unity in the face of external pressure. Iranian military leaders and political officials have also pledged allegiance to Mojtaba Khamenei as the country’s third supreme leader since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Bahrain says Iranian drone attack wounds 32 Bahraini officials on Monday said that 32 people were wounded in an Iranian drone attack targeting the Sitra area south of the capital, Manama. Four of the wounded were in critical condition, the state news agency cited the Health Ministry as saying.  Officials said some of the critically wounded include children who require surgery. The attack was part of a wider wave of drone and missile strikes by Iran, which has retaliated to joint US-Israeli strikes by targeting US bases in the Gulf.

New video suggests US strike near Iran girls' school, report says New video footage appears to show a US Tomahawk missile striking a facility in Minab, Iran, on 28 February, according to the open-source investigative group Bellingcat. The footage, released by Iran’s Mehr News and geolocated by Bellingcat, is said to provide the first visual evidence that US forces hit the area. The video also shows smoke rising from the vicinity of a nearby girls’ school where 175 people were reportedly killed, including children. The footage contradicts US President Donald Trump’s earlier claim that an Iranian missile was responsible for the strike on the school.
