Iraqi militia says 'will target all French interests' after carrier deployment  The pro-Iranian armed group Ashab al-Kahf said it would target all French interests in Iraq and the region following the deployment of the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle to the Gulf, AFP reported. In a statement posted on Telegram, the Iraqi group warned that French military facilities would be under attack starting Friday night. The group urged civilians to stay at least 500 meters away from a base in Iraqi Kurdistan where French troops are stationed. The threat came after an attack in the Erbil region that killed one French soldier and wounded several others, though the group did not directly claim responsibility.

Iran’s Fars news agency said residents in several areas reported their houses shaking due to the intensity of the blasts. "The intensity of the explosions was such that residents of these areas reported their houses shaking. No further details have been provided about the extent of damage or possible casualties," Iran's Fars news agency reported. Tehran has faced repeated air strikes since the joint US-Israeli war against Iran began on 28 February.

Woman and child killed in Israeli strikes on residential building in Iran A woman and a child were killed overnight during an Israeli air strike targeting a residential building in the city of Arak, western Iran, Al Jazeera Arabic reported.  The city’s deputy governor said that 35 other people were also wounded in the attack.

The comments come following reports that Khamenei was injured in the airstrike that killed his father, Ali Khamenei. Trump told Fox News that the US military had completely destroyed Iran in a way that "no other country had ever done".  He stressed that "ships must show some courage and pass through the Strait of Hormuz," adding that Iran was planning to control the Middle East

Saudi Arabia downs 10 drones over eastern region, ministry says  Saudi Arabia’s Defence Ministry said its air defences intercepted and shot down 10 drones over the country’s eastern region within the past hour. The announcement was made by the ministry’s spokesperson as authorities continued monitoring aerial threats. Officials did not immediately provide details on where the drones originated or whether any damage was reported.
