Five wounded after rockets hit Baghdad airport At least five people have been wounded after rockets struck areas around Baghdad International Airport, Iraqi security officials said. In a statement, the Security Media Cell said “five rockets targeted Baghdad International Airport and its surroundings, wounding four employees and security personnel, as well as an engineer”. The projectiles landed at several locations across the sprawling airport complex, including inside the civilian airport compound. Other impacts were reported at a nearby water treatment facility, close to an Iraqi military airbase, and near a high-security prison. In the video, taken at a cafe in Jerusalem's outskirts and posted on Netanyahu's Telegram account, his aide asks him about the rumours. Netanyahu responds with a pun on the word dead -- which in Hebrew slang can be used to describe "being crazy about" someone or something -- as he reaches for a cup of coffee.

The UN agency said people have been displaced to more than 20 provinces and shelters are under strain throughout Iran. Iranians are also fleeing to neighbouring countries, the agency said, including nearly 32,000 people to Afghanistan and nearly 4,000 to Pakistan, even though airports and most border crossings – especially to Iraq – are closed.
