US Central Command (Centcom) said the IRGC was “peddling recycled lies” about the attack. “To be clear: the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group continues to dominate Iranian airspace from the sea,” Centcom said in a post on X, rejecting the claim that the vessel had been rendered inoperable.
