Iran says ready to help investigate strikes on civilian areas Iran's foreign minister has denied that Tehran has targeted civilian or residential areas in the Middle East, saying the country is ready to form a committee with its neighbours to investigate responsibility for such strikes. Abbas Araghchi said in an interview with Al-Araby Al-Jadeed website that Tehran was in communication with various Gulf capitals and would welcome any initiative that could guarantee a complete end to the US-Israeli war on Iran. US President Donald Trump has reportedly rebuffed efforts by Middle Eastern allies to start diplomatic negotiations aimed at ending the war, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters on Saturday.

Morocco, on the other hand, sees the war as a further opportunity to strengthen its alliance with Washington and Israel - as well as the Gulf states - in anticipation of the ongoing negotiations on the fate of Western Sahara, a territory it claims and has occupied 80 percent of for the past 50 years.
