Reuters reported that the carrier, operating in the Red Sea, is expected to head to Souda Bay in Crete for inspection and repairs. The fire, which broke out in a laundry area, left nearly 200 sailors needing treatment for smoke inhalation and damaged about 100 sleeping berths, though critical systems remained unaffected.
